History
The Mansion's most famous owner was Prince and Senator I.A. Gagarin. According to an established literary opinion, his wife Ekaterina Semyonovna Semyonova, a renowned Russian actress that was celebrated by Alexander Pushkin in his works, including "Eugene Onegin", lived here in the 1820s-1830s. The original Empire-style interiors have not survived. Only two staircases and several parts of the molded cornice remain to be intact by our time.
